Tax treaty between the Netherlands and Hong Kong
As of January 1, 2012, the new tax treaty between the Netherlands and Hong Kong, which was signed in March 2010, entered into force. Hong Kong does not levy withholding tax on dividends and interest under national law. Furthermore, Hong Kong will limit royalty withholding tax to a maximum of 3% of the gross amount.
